Website Form integration guide

Send website enquiries directly into RevenueLancer as leads with a clear source and follow-up context.

Safe setup rule

RevenueLancer shows only masked credential status in the browser. Keep tokens, secrets, and passwords in secure server-side settings.

What this integration does

  • Receives website form submissions through a secure endpoint.
  • Creates leads with source, value, follow-up, and message context.
  • Masks the webhook secret after generation.

Credentials required

  • RevenueLancer endpoint URL
  • x-revenuelancer-webhook-secret header
  • Server-side website form handler

Where to get credentials

  • Copy the endpoint URL from the Website Form integration page.
  • Generate or regenerate the webhook secret in RevenueLancer.
  • Store the secret in your website backend environment, not in frontend JavaScript.

How to connect

  • Open RevenueLancer integrations and choose Website Form.
  • Enable the integration to generate or use a webhook secret.
  • Copy the endpoint URL and secret header into your website backend.
  • Send supported form payloads from your server, not from public browser code.

How to test

  • Send a test JSON payload from your website backend or API client.
  • Confirm the response succeeds.
  • Open Leads and verify the new lead appears.
  • Review safe event summaries if the request fails.

Common errors

  • Unauthorized request: confirm the x-revenuelancer-webhook-secret header is present and correct.
  • Missing lead name or contact information: send the required payload fields.
  • Duplicate form handling: confirm your website backend sends one request per form submission.
  • No lead appears: confirm the integration is enabled for the correct business account.
