Email SMTP integration guide

Use your business email provider for internal RevenueLancer alerts and operational notifications.

Safe setup rule

RevenueLancer shows only masked credential status in the browser. Keep tokens, secrets, and passwords in secure server-side settings.

What this integration does

  • Connects a client-owned SMTP channel.
  • Supports internal business alerts and setup testing.
  • Keeps passwords masked after save.

  • SMTP port
  • SMTP username
  • SMTP password or app password
  • Sender name
  • Sender email

Where to get credentials

  • Open your email provider admin settings.
  • Find SMTP server, port, and encryption details.
  • Create an app password when your provider requires one.
  • Confirm the sender email is allowed to send through SMTP.
